SAE 100 R6 / EN 854 1TE Textile Braided Hydraulic Hose

SAE 100 R6 hydraulic hose, also designated EN 854 1TE, is a single textile braided hydraulic line built for medium-pressure hydraulic circuits. Unlike steel wire reinforced hydraulic hoses, this hose uses high-tensile synthetic textile fibre as reinforcement. It is lighter, softer and easier to route in tight spaces on mobile and compact hydraulic equipment.

It is engineered for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. It is widely selected by hydraulic fitters, equipment repair shops and machinery OEMs for auxiliary hydraulic circuits where weight and flexibility matter more than extreme high pressure.

Hose Construction

Inner Tube: Oil resistant synthetic rubber, stable against mineral hydraulic oil, prevents swelling and degradation with long term oil contact

Reinforcement: One layer high tensile textile fibre braid

Outer Cover: Abrasion and weather resistant synthetic rubber, good ozone and UV resistance for outdoor working conditions

Working Temperature: -40°C ~ +100°C

Important note: This hose is designed for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. It is not suitable for fuel, solvent or aggressive water-based hydraulic media unless custom inner rubber material is requested.

Q: What is the difference between SAE 100 R6 and SAE 100 R2 hydraulic hose?

A: SAE100 R6 uses textile fibre braid reinforcement for medium pressure service, it is lighter and more flexible. SAE100 R2 is steel wire braided, rated for much higher working pressure. They cannot be swapped for high pressure hydraulic lines.
