A steering power assist pipe (often called a power steering hose) is a crucial component in hydraulic steering systems. It safely transports high-pressure and low-pressure power steering fluid between the steering pump, rotary control valve, and steering rack, enabling you to turn your vehicle with minimal physical effort.

Leak-proof Connector
Adopt high precision hydraulic press to connect rubber hose and metal pipe, ensuring the connection of rubber hose and metal pipe is firm and reliable. Equipped with good O-rings/seals (suitable for the specific vehicles), avoid the leak after long time high pressure vibration.
Protection for Thermal Insulation
The thermal-insulating heat-resistant sleeve (heat-proof protector) is equipped for the heat-resistant hose, which is routed near heat source, such as exhaust. This protects against high temperatures and avoid premature aging of the rubber.

Fluid Inspections
Check the power steering fluid level and condition every six months. If the fluid is black, smells burnt or contains debris, flush and replace immediately to prevent internal contamination and corrosion.

Check for Leaks
Red or clear puddles of oil on the ground below the vehicle, or a "sweating" oil film on the rubber hose section indicates that the pipe is weeping, and should be replaced as soon as possible.

Do Not Hold Full Lock
Do not hold the steering wheel in full lock (max turn) position for more than 5 seconds. This makes the power steering pump run at full pressure , which is hard on the pipe and hard on the joints.

Check for Chafing and Loose Brackets
As part of routine maintenance (i.e. oil changes), check that hose routing clips and brackets are tight. Avoid rubbing the pipe against other metal chassis parts which can cause friction holes.
